Do You Need A Mentor ?

I have learned in my life we all have had opportunities presented to us one time or another. Its usually because of skepticism or fear that holds us back. I previously spoke about having a plan B, well there are many different avenues one can take. I have ventured on quite a few myself, real estate, internet sales and network marketing. I have been in network marketing now for over 6yrs and the last 4 has been with the same company. I may not be the millionaire I would like to be, but what I have gained in wisdom and knowledge you can't pay for. The problem is everyone wants to go form exactly where they are, to where they want to be, with no growth.

Our team, THE M.A.D. Team which stands for Making A Difference, is training me and hundreds of others, to be the entrepreneur we are all designed to be. That is one of the top principles of success is to have a mentor, someone who has been where you want to go. We see it spiritually , with your pastor , who has shaped me to be the best wife, mother and just overall person I can be. If you look at your work place Im almost sure there is someone that you can always go to for help,"your mentor". I believe a mentor is someone you must trust but I wouldn't say you will like them. I know that sounds crazy but if your personal trainer is doing there job you will actually hate them, until you see the results. Well its the same thing when your mind is being shaped to think different you are going to be totally uncomfortable and hate the person that is doing it to you. That is a GREAT mentor.

We all think about it spiritually and Physically but what about financially. If you take a look at every successful person , they have had a mentor in there lives. If you know you need help in this area now is the time to get it, this is just one of my dynamic financial mentors:

Do anyone have INTEGRITY ?

Today I really want to know where the Integrity of our people has gone? When you hear the word integrity most people think of being honest, but theres so much more to it. Your integrity is what shapes your character, being on time, keeping commitments, your contributions, your trust levels and yes if you are honest or not. This all starts from your childhood and your parents play a big role in your integrity.
How many times have you been told " we will do something" and when the time come "oh I'm sorry something came up"? This is a broken commitment and it sometimes may hurt. How many commitments have you broken unaware of the perception from the other person. I can remember as far back as 5 years old being told that we will do something that never came to pass, this is the start of commitment issues. Is it a struggle to be on time? Do you wait till the last minute to leave or get yourself together,do you tell the truth or is it ok to tell a little lie as long as no one gets hurt. Believe it or not we see these things as children and grow up with the same issues. This is not to judge anyone I deal with these issues but I don't want my children to have to deal with them.
This is just an eye opener , if you are not sure you can do something don't make the commitment. Its better to say no and surprise the person than to be the person known for breaking your commitments. I know growing up you watch your parents for all guidance and the word of God says " train a child in the way they should go and they will not depart". Your children see the life you live and you are training them for the life they will have to live. So the question is are you honest, committed, trust worthy, punctual and do you give. You must give to receive, this is a basic principle of life more people need to grab hold of it and it starts at home.

INSANITY !!!!!!!

What have you been doing over and over again expecting different results? We all go to work day after day waiting for something different to happen, for the day a armor truck rolls over and a few million fallout in our car. Well unfortunately thats not what God has designed for your life, in Ephesians 3:20 God says Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. This scripture just confirms that what ever you do is on the inside of you. To sit around and wait to hit the number, or for that truck to roll over is luck and God does not move by chance. There is a talent in each in everyone of us that God wants to perfect and it is not being perfected working for someone else. Don't get me wrong we all need to earn money but what is your plan B. Your plan B is what will take you to your destiny, it will be what you enjoy and you will be able to pass it on to the third and fourth generation. Just remember a JOB means Just Over Broke, today is the day to find your true talents and thats where your increase will come from, step out of your comfort zone, the rich is never comfortable and if they are they know they are not growing. Today is the day to FOCUS, which means to Follow One Coarse Until Successful. Remember its the power that worketh in you that will change your destiny.

Where did you get your beliefs from?

What has shaped you to be the person you are today? This is something I ask myself often. We all grow up seeing ourselves one way and turn out doing the total opposite. Is this because we just decided that was not for me, have we given up on our dreams or has other opinions shaped our thinking? When I was young I always wanted to be a lawyer, actually up until high school this was my goal and focus. When I started high school the kids I hung out with was no longer interested in school, so instead of staying on high honors I did what was just enough to graduate. At this point my BELIEF of law school had diminished. I was always told to go to school, get good grades, so you can get a good job. Well I got a job with the Long Island Rail Road and at 21 that was a great job. What I now realize is, this is nothing what I wanted to do. My beliefs were shaped a lot by my peers, my parents and my family. I was conscious of the choices I have made, but I cannot say I BELIEVE they all are the right choices.

Today I am making a decision to seek liberty! We all have freedom, which is the ability to decide and it is safe to say all our decisions aren't the best for us. We do things for the sake of others and may have regrets later. Liberty is the result of wise decisions, in a sense is the ability to be who you want to be , when you want to be it. So today decide who you really want to be, what you really want to do and where you really want to go! And don't let a set of beliefs stop you. We all have purpose JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!

Why is fiber important to our diet?

The foods we eat are not the same our parents ate many years ago. Our foods are loaded with preservatives, hormones, steroids and things we cant even pronounce. What we have to do is be more aware of what we eat. We hear a lot about carbohydrates "carbs", what we have to realize is there is good carbs and bad carbs. All carbs contain sugar, they may come in the name of maltose, sucrose(table sugar), lactose(in dairy) and fructose(in fruits).

Fiber is the major factor that slows the absorption of sugar. If you absorb fiber at least 15 mins before a meal, what you have done is slowed down the digestive process. Slower digestion of carbs, less insulin. Less insulin less drop in blood sugar. Less of sugar rise and fall, less hunger later. Fiber is also great to regulate bowel movements to help keep your colon cleansed. Today is the day to start adding FIBER to your diet.
