Where did you get your beliefs from?
What has shaped you to be the person you are today? This is something I ask myself often. We all grow up seeing ourselves one way and turn out doing the total opposite. Is this because we just decided that was not for me, have we given up on our dreams or has other opinions shaped our thinking? When I was young I always wanted to be a lawyer, actually up until high school this was my goal and focus. When I started high school the kids I hung out with was no longer interested in school, so instead of staying on high honors I did what was just enough to graduate. At this point my BELIEF of law school had diminished. I was always told to go to school, get good grades, so you can get a good job. Well I got a job with the Long Island Rail Road and at 21 that was a great job. What I now realize is, this is nothing what I wanted to do. My beliefs were shaped a lot by my peers, my parents and my family. I was conscious of the choices I have made, but I cannot say I BELIEVE they all are the right choices.
Today I am making a decision to seek liberty! We all have freedom, which is the ability to decide and it is safe to say all our decisions aren't the best for us. We do things for the sake of others and may have regrets later. Liberty is the result of wise decisions, in a sense is the ability to be who you want to be , when you want to be it. So today decide who you really want to be, what you really want to do and where you really want to go! And don't let a set of beliefs stop you. We all have purpose JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!

Great posting.... Liberty, focus that's it. You are correct, many dreams only dreams because who we get hooked up to, or the beliefs and mindsets of others... I love this. I am laughing cause everyone is blogging. It is an excellent way to refocus. Who knows some books may come from these blogs.
