Do anyone have INTEGRITY ?

Today I really want to know where the Integrity of our people has gone? When you hear the word integrity most people think of being honest, but theres so much more to it. Your integrity is what shapes your character, being on time, keeping commitments, your contributions, your trust levels and yes if you are honest or not. This all starts from your childhood and your parents play a big role in your integrity.
How many times have you been told " we will do something" and when the time come "oh I'm sorry something came up"? This is a broken commitment and it sometimes may hurt. How many commitments have you broken unaware of the perception from the other person. I can remember as far back as 5 years old being told that we will do something that never came to pass, this is the start of commitment issues. Is it a struggle to be on time? Do you wait till the last minute to leave or get yourself together,do you tell the truth or is it ok to tell a little lie as long as no one gets hurt. Believe it or not we see these things as children and grow up with the same issues. This is not to judge anyone I deal with these issues but I don't want my children to have to deal with them.
This is just an eye opener , if you are not sure you can do something don't make the commitment. Its better to say no and surprise the person than to be the person known for breaking your commitments. I know growing up you watch your parents for all guidance and the word of God says " train a child in the way they should go and they will not depart". Your children see the life you live and you are training them for the life they will have to live. So the question is are you honest, committed, trust worthy, punctual and do you give. You must give to receive, this is a basic principle of life more people need to grab hold of it and it starts at home.

  1. Food for thought.... We are sponsible for a promise. I guess I better start with being on time more often. Pastor Leo is always telling me that lateness speaks volume of personality. Thanks
